Culture
How we work.
We work in small teams with high individual ownership. There is no layer of product managers buffering engineers from the work. Designers ship product. Engineers talk to users. The organisation is flat because the problem requires everyone to be close to the surface.
The standards are high because the people we are building for — developers, indie hackers, and engineering teams shipping under deadline — have very little patience for software that wastes their time. We review code as if a user's flow is downstream of it. Because it is.
We are not trying to build the biggest IDE company. We are trying to build the one that respects the user's choice of model — and earns its keep on the orchestration, not the markup.
