FAQ

Common questions.

The short answers to the things people ask before they sign up.

Do you charge for models?

No. Entity is the IDE. The model is yours: bring an API key, run a local Ollama or vLLM server, or load a self-hosted endpoint. The model bill, if any, goes to your provider directly.

How does Enterprise model governance work?

Enterprise admins can set per-employee policies: which models they are allowed to use, monthly token or spend caps, and rate limits per model. For example, you can restrict an entire team to Kimi K2 and Llama 3.1 only, with a $40/month spend cap per engineer on each.

Can I cancel any time?

Pro is month-to-month with no commitment. Teams is annual but pro-rated. Enterprise contracts are custom.

What is the difference between Teams and Enterprise?

Teams is for engineering organisations that need shared spaces, SSO, and team analytics. Enterprise adds on-prem deployment, per-employee model governance, SCIM, advanced audit, custom SLA, and security review.

By the numbers

Model-agnostic by design, not by accident.

Entity speaks to every major frontier provider, every popular open-source family, and your local Ollama instance. Pick the tool that fits the task — Chat for one-shots, Pilot for supervised editing, Autopilot for long-running multi-step work.
